- Deez Nuts est un band hardcore d’Australie et ils sortiront « Bout It » en 2013 et en voici le premier extrait rendu public:

- Le band hardcore Terror a sorti une nouvelle track, « Hard Lessons », qui paraîtra sur le 7″ de Reaper Records et très probablement sur leur nouvel LP, « Live By The Code »:
- Ancient VVisdom est un band de rocker acoustic du Texas, du rock occulte comme ils appellent leur musique. Voici la pièce titre de leur nouvel album « Deathlike ». Voici ce que Nathan Opposition avait à dire sur la track:
« ‘Deathlike’ is a way of life, an ongoing war in the human mind conquering fear over death. It asks the question each human being must ask themselves — an effort to find life on earth. »
- Gypsyhawk se dit de la nouvelle vague de métal classique et on peut en témoigner dans ce nouveau vidéo pour promouvoir leur dernier album:
- Ben voyons! Un autre accident important avec une bus de tournée, cette fois-ci avec The Acacia Strain qui ont d’ailleurs annulé leur participation au reste de la tournée avec Veil of Maya. Aucune blessure majeure, seulement des trucs mineurs…
- Neurosis laisse tomber leur artiste visuel pour les présentations durant les shows et explique le geste:
« As of today, after much thought and discussion, visual projections as we have presented them over the last 20 years will no longer be part of Neurosis live shows. »We are going to begin the process of reinventing our live presentation. This process will begin at zero, allowing the music to speak for itself and lead us where it may. Whatever form or however long this may take is unknown. »This also signals a parting of the ways with our visual artist of the last twelve years, Josh Graham. Josh’s tireless work and talent came at a time when we really needed it and carried us gracefully into the video age with original content we couldn’t have dreamed of when we were just starting out. Our parting comes from a place of mutual respect, friendship and understanding. We all agree that this is a step Neurosis has to take and are open to working together on specific projects in the future. We wish him success and the best of luck with all of his own musical endeavors and artistic passions. »
- Ozzy Osbourne s’est entretenu avec un journal du la Nouvelle-Zélande à propos de Black Sabbath. Voici les points les plus importants que j’ai retenu:
On how the members of BLACK SABBATH — with the exception of drummer Bill Ward, who is sitting out the band’s reunion due to a contractual dispute — are getting along nowadays:Osbourne: « What’s different now is that none of us get drunk or stoned or any of that stuff. We’re all clean, and all in control of ourselves, we’re not intimidated by each other, there are no arguments, and it’s the way it should be. But when we were kids we had egos. When you’re 21 and you get some success it takes a while to get your head around. You have an ego, you have the spoils of success, the cars, the houses, the money, the alcohol, the drugs, the groupies, and all the rest of it, and if you go through all of that and you are lucky enough to survive you get married, you get divorced, you get married again, and it’s a journey. But we’ve done it all so what it boils down to now is the music – and that’s what got us where we are in the first place. We have come through the other side, we’re still able to work together, and that’s where the enjoyment comes from. It’s been a lot of fun making this record. »
On the recording sessions for the new BLACK SABBATH album, which were interrupted by guitarist Tony Iommi‘s diagnosis with lymphona at the beginning of this year:
Osbourne: « [The treatment] has been a bit rough on him but he still manages to come up with those great riffs. It’s been more than 30 years since I really seriously worked with the guys. We had a try a few years back but nothing came of it. But for some reason the timing is right and we’ve done about 15 songs. BLACK SABBATH is very unique in the respect that nothing is formulated. It’s very unpredictable. I just hope the people who have waited all these years aren’t disappointed. »

Nouvelles en Rafale: Chelsea Grin a finalement annoncé leur nouveau drummer, Pablo Viveros, anciennement de Becoming Everest… Une tournée (mais pas les dates…) a été annoncée en Amérique du Nord avec Marduk, Moonspell, Inquisition, The Foreshadowing et Death Wolf, alors on se croise les doigts tout le monde… Nate Morris de Polar Bear Club a quitté le groupe et ils se cherchent un nouveau guitariste… Une nouvelle track de Byzantine est disponible en suivant ce lien…
