Formé en 1993 et reformé en 2008, OSCULUM INFAME est l’un des plus vieux groupes de Black Metal de la scène française. Cependant, avant cette année il n’avait publié qu’un seul album complet et celui-ci datait de 1997.
Remédiant à la situation, la troupe parisienne nous offre cette année un album superbe, consistant et cohérent doté d’une production sans faille. S’ouvrant sur une introduction composée d’un échantillon de «Requiem (Kyrie)» de György Ligeti combiné à un échantillonnage d’éruption volcanique, l’album ne contient effectivement aucun temps mort dans son assaut sonore fait de pièces toutes aussi intéressantes les unes que les autres.
Le fanatique de Métal noir y trouvera donc ivresse mélodique, atmosphères sombres et puissance sonore interprétée avec une optique moderne, variée. Il s’agit donc d’une sortie à se procurer absolument pour tous les fanatiques de Black Metal français. Faites vite, le disque compact est limité à 500 copies!

Formed in 1993 and reformed in 2008, OSCULUM INFAME is one of the oldest Black Metal band of the French scene. However, before this year they had released only one full album and this one goes back to 1997. Finally, the Paris veterans offer this year a superb album, consistent and coherent with a flawless production.
Opening with an introduction made up of a sample of György Ligeti‘s «Requiem (Kyrie)» combined with a volcanic eruption, the album really contains no flaws in its deadly assault made of eleven interesting compositions.
The Black Metal fanatic will therefore find melodic intoxication and dark atmospheres in this sonic assault interpreted with a varied modern perspective. It is therefore an album to get absolutely for all French Black Metal fanatics. Hurry, the CD is limited to 500 copies!
