C’est en feuilletant le nouveau numéro de Revolver Magazine (je sais, pas le meilleur, mais tout de même une bonne source d’informations) que je suis tombé sur un encadré qui annonçait la sortie prochaine, décembre 2014, de cet ouvrage qui documente la scène Hardcore new-yorkaise de 1980-90, « NYHC: New York Hardcore 1980-1990 ».
Le tout est offert par Bazillion Points, une maison d’édition que vous vous devez de connaître, si ce n’est pas déjà fait, car ils sont vraiment sur la grosse coche quand il s’agit de parler de métal/hardcore/punk. Voyez tous leurs titres en suivant ce lien.
Ce qui nous intéresse dans le cas présent est cette fameuse scène Hardcore qui a précédé la nôtre et ce livre semble avoir tout pour nous plaire:
