Calisse! C’est ma deuxième journée de congé de suite, pis hier j’étais mort de ma fin de semaine, donc mon divan était mon meilleur ami et aujourd’hui c’est une nouvelle Capsule Ondes Chocs, deux textes à écrire, une entrevue et les préparations du Gala Ondes Chocs de fin d’année! Ouffff!
Sérieux, c’est trop malade ce qui arrive avec les entrevues de mongole de planifiées ou déjà effectuées, la page facebook qui a dépassé les 1000 abonnés en moins de six mois, les fins de semaine de débauche qu’on s’impose avec le plus grand des plaisirs (all in the name of Metal, of course \m/), les bands qui nous contactent par dizaine et même les bands étrangers maintenant!!
Ceci dit, voici cette nouvelle Capsule épique:

- Comment la terre a pu ne PAS trembler quand la nouvelle est sortie que Every Time I Die allait venir au Québec et surtout… À QUÉBEC!! Hey oui, le 8 mars à Montréal et le lendemain à l’Union Commerciale à Québec! Les dates sont déjà sur la page de Concerts Hard Rock/Métal au Québec. Le publiciste m’a d’ailleurs contacté ce matin et Keith Buckley, le chanteur, sera ENFIN en entrevue avec nous dans une Capsule Ondes Chocs. Ça niaisait un peu, honnêtement…
- The Contortionist a sorti un nouveau vidéo hier et je vous l’ai partagé, mais je me disais que ceux qui l’avait raté profiteraient de ma chronique quotidienne pour se reprendre. Enjoy! Après, je vous met la Capsule Ondes Chocs dans laquelle je m’entretient avec le chanteur de la formation d’Indianapolis. Pour ceux qui sont familier avec leur vidéo précédent, « Causalty », vous verrez une relation.
- « Hydra », le nouvel album de Otep qui sortira le 22 janvier, serait son dernier selon Victory Records et l’artiste elle-même. Elle ne s’est pas fait beaucoup d’amis récemment avec ses sorties contre les commentateurs de nouvelles des sites Blabbermouth et The PRP. Je lui ai parlé la semaine dernière pendant 45 minutes et cette entrevue sera disponible dans une Capsule Ondes Chocs très bientôt.
- Voici ce que Larry Mazer, gérant de Lamb Of God, avait à dire sur l’inculpation pour homicide involontaire de son chanteur Randy Blythe:
“After a three month investigation, the prosecutor in the Czech Republic has decided to move forward with an indictment of Randy Blythe on the charge of manslaughter with intent to cause bodily harm. Obviously, we intend to fight vigorously against these charges as we feel that in no way did Randy intend to cause bodily harm on the young fan who subsequently died from injuries sustained at the show. As he has stated previously, Randy intends to go to Prague to defend himself at trial.
While it is a tragedy that a Lamb of God fan died following a performance by the group, in no way do I feel that Randy did anything improper that led to the young man’s injuries and subsequent death. The price of a ticket to a show does not entitle audience members access to a band’s stage.
In the years since the murder on stage of Dimebag Darrell Abbott, performers of all genres have had to become more guarded while performing in response to the dangers presented by fans trying to become part of the performance. We believe that Randyresponded professionally to the numerous amount of fans rushing the stage that day, a number of them captured on videos that have been posted on the internet.
We have testimony from the venue operator that acknowledges lax security and an improper barricade being used that evening. Numerous testimonies from fans also were contradictory as to the actions of the multiple fans that tried to access the stage.
At this point, all that the band, myself, and our lawyers can do is to present a defense and try to convince the panel of judges who will hear the case that Randy is innocent of all charges and that his name and reputation need to be cleared and that he be permitted to carry on with his life and career always mindful that a fan passed away after a Lamb of God performance.”

- Paradox offre son métal allemand sous la forme de ce nouveau vidéo pour leur nouvel album « Tales of the Weird » qui sort le 14 décembre. Très bon, mais la voix est moyenne.
- Le chanteur et ‘mainman’ de Opeth, Mikael Akerfeldt, nous parle ici des deux premières compos qu’il a écrite pour le prochain album du band:
Asked about the progress of the songwriting sessions for OPETH‘s follow-up to 2011’s « Heritage » album, Mikael said (see video below): « I have one new song, which I really like, a new song. It’s the most miserable song I ever wrote, and it’s beautiful, I think. And then I have a song that we jammed, actually, on tour. I came up with a little lick and became a bit of a director and just told everyone to play this and that, and we started jamming on something. And it sounded, immediately from the beginning, which was also my idea, it sounded like the band GOBLIN, if you heard them, the Italian [progressive rock] band. So it’s a crazy riff, a GOBLIN rip-off, and the song is called ‘Goblin’, which is a good title, I think. And we’re gonna record it. I’m not sure if that will be too much of a fucked up song to be on the record, because there will definitely only be one song ever we do that is gonna sound like that. So maybe it’ll just be some extra thing that we have. But it’s really good; I love it. But then again, it’s just because of the closeness to GOBLIN. »
- Une update de Jason Bittner, le très bon drummer de Shadows Fall qui se remet d’une attaque à son pancreas:
“Well I’m happy to say that I’m feeling much better, back to playing, and almost feel 100% – too bad my insides are still not 100% but they’re healing nicely primarily due to me staying off the road and resting. I have another round of bloodwork next week, in which the docs think I should be back to all normal internal functions by then, but they still are prohibiting me from leaving until after my endoscope on Dec. 18th (they need to hopefully find the cause of the Pancreatitis, and whether or not anything else is going on as well – but i feel pretty confident that i’ll be ok). So what does this mean toShadows Fall – it means that I, sadly, will not be able to return until after the 18th. In the meantime please go continue to support the band on the KSE tour with my boyWillis Mathiasen covering for me – he’s got a tough job and he’s handling it like a pro from what I’ve seen and heard…..I’m really missing the band, and the fans and tour, but I promise that I WILL be on the last dates of the tour after xmas
\m/Nouvelles en Rafale\m/: Mastodon serait en train d’enregistrer une pièce pour un film, Monsters University » qui serait la suite de « Monsters Inc. »… Of Mice & Men prépare déjà du nouveau matériel pour un nouvel album… I See Stars est présentement entrain d’enregistrer une track avec Frankie de Emmure… Vanna sera de la prochaine tournée de Every Time I Die mentionné ci-haut et ils sont présentement en studio pour leur prochain album… All Shall Perish fait présentement les démos de nouvelles tracks…
