Avant de commencer les news et autres, on se le tappe et je vous met la dernière Capsule Ondes Chocs avec une excellente entrevue de David Lessard, le chanteur de Under Aspect!
- Randy Blythe, le chanteur de Lamb of God, a été officiellement inculpé d’homicide involontaire par la justice Tchèque. La cour a maintenant trois mois pour déterminer la date du procès et Randy a toutes les intentions de se présenter dans le pays pour le procès, comme promis. D’ici là, cette track est de mise:
- On savait déjà que Korn allait se réunir avec leur ancien guitariste Brian « Head » Welch pour deux festivals cet été, mais maintenant on apprend que cette réunion pourrait être permanente avec ces commentaires de James « Munky » Shaffer, le présent guitariste:
« I don’t project it, but yeah, that’s the hope, that’s the optimism of this, » he said. « But we do one thing at a time and see how it develops and then talk about it, instead of rushing into something and then being… everyone’s unhappy again and then there’s an ugly split. That’s the last thing we want. So we’ll just take it step by step and sort of figure out how each thing… we’ll see how the shows go, we’ll see how things transpire [before the gigs]. ‘Cause there’s gonna be rehearsals, there’s gonna be interactions, obviously, because we have to get ready for the show and anything else that might happen. Who knows?! We might get in a giant fight and then call the whole show off. But I doubt it. »
- Tom Keifer de Cinderella parle de sa paralysie des cordes vocales:
- Voici « A Day That Never Comes » de Metallica et son tout nouveau DVD « Quebec Magnetic » qui sortira le 10 décembre!
- Comme les rumeurs le disaient la semaine dernière, Carcass sera de retour avec un nouvel album en 2013 produit par Colin Richardson! Le drummer de Trigger The Bloodshed, Daniel Wilding, sera derrière les peaux pour l’enregistrement. Michael Ammott et Daniel Erlandsson ne seront pas impliqué dans le projet cependant, car ils ont des engagements avec Arch Enenmy. On les écoute sur ce qu’on pourra s’attendre de cet album et crisse que c’est encouragean! Coooool!
Regarding the sound of the forthcoming CARCASS album, Walker states: « We’ve taken stylistic cues from all the albums because it’s in our blood, but it’s no rehash or mess of ideas. I think it sounds almost like the missing link between the third and forth albums but with some groove in there. I’ve jokingly christened some parts ‘trad blast’ and some ‘death sleaze’… don’t think for a minute this is just some nostalgic throwback album — we’re setting up another 17 years of ideas for other bands to copy and clean up on. [laughs] »Asked if this means we’ll be hearing some death metal vocals out of Billfor the first time since « Necroticism », Walker tells Decibel, « Yes, already in the can. It’s more along the lines of how I envisioned him backing me up on ‘Heartwork’. That said, my own vocals have a hell of a lot more range than they did in the past solely down to the luxury of having time to record them — I did all the vox for ‘Heartwork’ in two days and it shows! Also, (hopefully) [drummer] Ken [Owen] [who is not involved in the band’s current reunion because he suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage in February 1999 and has had some rather serious health problems since then. — Ed.] will make an appearance — we just need to tidy a few loose ends before the mix. »
