Yeah! J’ai pris un break de cette chronique pour me concentrer sur des entrevues, les Capsules Ondes Chocs à venir, des nouveaux collaborateurs et mon hygiène… euh… what??!!
Esti qu’on a du fun la gang de Ondes Chocs à courir partout et parler à tout le monde. Gros merci pour votre support et vos visites de nos plateformes qui battent toutes nos attentes… malade…

- Est-ce que j’ai encore besoin de vous dire que Ondes Chocs s’est entretenu avec le seul et unique Sam Dunn??!! Hell yeah, vous pouvez la télécharger ou l’écouter gratuitement en suivant ce lien. Dans le futur très prochain, Derelict, Battlecross, Butcher Babies, Periphery, Jennifer Bobette, Otep et plusieurs autres seront tous en vedette dans une Capsule Ondes Chocs!
- Si par la plus pure des malchances vous n’aviez toujours pas vu le nouveau vidéo de Pig Destroyer, le voici ci-dessous. Si vous n’avez pas aussi entendu le nouvel album, « Book Burner »… ben là… je suis désolé pour vous…
- Bullet For My Valentine sortira son nouvel album, « Temper Temper », (pire nom d’album de l’histoire de la musique??) le 12 février 2013 et si vous n’avez pas encore écouté la nouvelle pièce, et vous manquez pas grand chose, la voici:
- Le groupe de death/gore de la côte ouest américaine, Exhumed, ont terminé l’enregistrement de leur nouvel opus! Il sera disponible en 2013, mais pour l’instant, on se tappe du vieux stock \m/
- Oh! Ce sera fini pour Dr. Acula après la série de shows qu’ils ont présentement de bookés. Voici le communiqué de presse:
« After almost 8 years the band named Dr.Acula will be put to rest. Being the only original member that was left, it is very sad for me to actually have to say this. Dr.Acula started off as a joke back in 2005. Over the years we kept our sense of humour and pissed off many people. I have nothing but love and respect for ALMOST everyone that’s ever been a part of DA. Especially my brother Kevin who saved this band on many occasions. I had quit the band a little less than a month ago. I had some personal problems of my own holding me back from continuing with DA. Most importantly I could not handle the ‘sketchy’ things some people would do within the band itself. Casey, Oli and Chris will always be my dearest friends. Thank you to everyone that’s ever given DA a listen, wether you liked it or not you were a part of this. Unlike some people, I never forgot the roots of this band and where our success came from. »
- Il y a eu des rumeurs comme quoi Frank Mullen, le talentueux chanteur de Suffocation, allait quitter son poste suite à une réponse donnée à un reporter. Lui et le band ont clarifié les propos et on pourrait effectivement se retrouver, sur certaines tournées dans le monde, avec un chanteur différent, car Frank ne peut/veut plus faire de tournée où il s’en va pour un ou plusieurs mois de fil hors de chez lui, ce qui est comprenable après tout ce qu’il a offert au cours des années! Voici tout ce qui a été dit:
« I am not leaving Suffocation, » commented Mullen. « Massive one month long touring on my side cannot be done anymore though. When the new album is released next year I will be touring as much as possible to support the album as well as the following year in 2014. » »When I was asked that question in the interview I was taken off guard and didn’t really know what my schedule was going to look like next year and wanted to try and answer. I haven’t given much thought to what our touring schedule would look like since we’ve been in the studio recording the new release. So I’m going to be getting out there as much as I can to support the album and get out there in front of the ones who have supported Suffocation over the years, the true fans. So we are going to be supporting this record as soon as it comes out »
The rest of the band adds:
« We have respected this decision that Frank has made, but by no means does this mean Suffocation will ‘replace’ him with new singer or stop touring. Death metal has been good to us, and we feel fortunate with the success we have achieved. For shows or tours he can’t be a part of there will be a well respected, talented, fill in singer, so we as a band can continue to prosper and bring Suffocation to the fans. Bill Robinson (Decrepit Birth) is a good friend of ours and came through during the European tours when Frank was unable to make the shows, but he was just filling in those two times. The fill-in singer will be announced soon, and we promise that our fans will not be let down. We have been fortunate to make a great living playing music, and are willing to continue to give our fans what they want. »

- Bon, ça y’est, c’est la nouvelle tendance des bands métal après la performance ‘live’ en entier de leurs albums classiques: le vin!! 69 Eyes se met dans la course avec leur propre cuvée… hmmmm….
- Vous connaissez Neurosis, le groupe de métal expérimental de Oakland? Leur nouvel album, « Honor Found In Decay », est présentement en écoute au complet juste en-dessous \m/. Ça sort officiellement demain!

- Pour ceux qui pensait que la récente apparition de deux tracks de Strapping Young Lad dans un set de The Devin Townsend Project était un signe de quelque chose à venir… et bien non selon le principal intéressé:
“I realize playing the 2 syl songs with Jed will lead to a ton of questions. I’m prepared for that, and have no desire to reform SYL. Playing them was closure for me, and I love Jed. I love Strapping, but haven’t the same connection with the stuff. It was a one off. ”
